A hackathon is a 1-2 day event where people collaboratively work on programming projects. Hackathons can have themes and divisions. Most hackathons offer coding workshops, swag, prizes, and more!
Ada Lovelace is known to be the first female computer programmer. We were so inspired by her story that we decided to make AdaHacks!
AdaHacks V will be held on April 21st at Saint Francis High School in Mountain View (1880 Miramonte Ave, Mountain View, CA 94040).

Modern statistics show that women make up only 20% of computer science majors. AdaHacks wants to change this and encourage women to pursue computer science in the future!
Members will learn about teamwork, leadership and creativity through one immersive experience.
