A hackathon is a 1-2 day event where people collaboratively work on programming projects. Hackathons can have themes and divisions. Most hackathons offer coding workshops, swag, prizes, and more!
Ada Lovelace is known to be the first female computer programmer. We were so inspired by her story that we decided to make AdaHacks!
AdaHacks IV will be held on March 11th at the Youtube Office in San Bruno (901 Cherry Ave, San Bruno, CA 94066).
It is totally free!
Bring a computer/laptop with a charger, your COVID vaccination card (physical or digital), and your student ID.
No! Our event aims to encourage girls with a variety of skill levels to learn more about computer science.
Note: Changes to this information will be emailed to participants as necessary.
Everyone who attends will learn how to code a website or an app in a team environment.
Modern statistics show that women make up only 20% of computer science majors. AdaHacks wants to change this and encourage women to pursue computer science in the future!
Members will learn about teamwork, leadership and creativity through one immersive experience.
